Oh my, once you have a baby shower, it makes you realize the baby is actually coming...and soon!
My grandma Marianne in Walnut Creek threw me a lovely shower on a rainy Sunday. It was a luncheon of yummy pasta, garlic bread, salad, and a big pink cake. I was very excited to have my mother-in-law, sister-in-law, friend Nichole, and Nana travel up from Southern California for the shower. So a group of my friends and family got to spend the afternoon watching me open LOADS of baby gifts, and let me tell you, this baby will be well dressed!
The centerpiece displayed my grandma's collection of bronzed baby shoes...she has her shoes, her children's and her grandchildren's first shoes. We will have to add to her collection!

who knew my "McBaby" would be so popular? it was so fun connecting with all of your friends at the shower...and of course i loved getting together with Linda and Kelly after such a long time!!!
