2 months

Dear Jaynie,

Wow...time really flies! You are already 2 months old. You weigh 10 lbs 9 oz (44th percentile) and are 23 inches long now (76th percentile).
You are growing so fast! You are so long that you have outgrown the feet in most of your outfits, but you are so skinny that the next size up does not fit yet.

Your biggest development is that you are able to sleep through the night! This started when you were 6 weeks old, and has not stopped since. The only catch is that you sleep in your swing, not a crib or bassinet. But you look so peaceful swinging every night.
Uncle Max with your bow (at Max's 21st birthday!)

You have very good head control, and are very alert. You really like to check out what is going on around you. You also have learned to coo, and often will reply to mom and dad when we talk to you! Music really calms you, and you're favorites so far are the lullaby station on Pandora, The Beatles, and The Whitestripes.

You have had lots of visitors this past month, including your Grandpa Stephen and Peonie from Hong Kong, Aunt Kelly (twice!), Grandma Linda, Great Aunt Janet, cousin Julianna, Uncle Max, and Victoria.

Grandma Linda

You also saw a lot of Nonny, Grandpa Jim, and Uncle Jason. Julianna called your dad a "beginner dad" because he woke you up, and everybody knows you're never supposed to wake a sleeping baby! Mom and Dad went out 3 times this month!
Valentine's Day

Nonny and Grandpa babysat you twice, and Grandma Linda and Aunt Kelly babysat once. There is no shortage of people wanting to spend the evening with you...such a popular girl!
Grandpa Stephen, Peonie, and Cleo

We went on lots of outings this month, including your first trip to SF, another Napa wine tasting trip, and walks around the Lafayette Reservoir (hard work for mom pushing your stroller up all those hills!).
Napa

You also had your first restaurant experience. I met my friend Nina for brunch at Sunrise Bistro, and you were so good that Nina and I were able to chat and catch up for 2 whole hours! What a good brunch companion. You've had a very busy month #2, and we can't wait to see what's in store for the next month!
Love,
Mom and Dad
