Dear Jayne,

At 1 month, your day still consists of eating, sleeping, and pooping =) You are beginning to become more alert for longer periods of time. You prefer to nap all day long, and then stay awake in the evening when both your mom and dad are home together. At night, you wake up twice to eat, and then don't let your mom go back to bed after your 5am feeding (but you will let her sleep on the couch while you snooze in your swing).

Walks in the stroller, rides in the car, the vacuum cleaner, and the bathroom fan all put you to sleep. Waking up is quite a process for you...it looks like you take after your father there! You go on walks everyday with mom to Heather Farms Park. Someday you will wake up on the walk to see all the ducks and geese. You also have made lots of trips to Nonny and Grandpa Jim's house for dinner (and you also get to see Uncle Jason there). You are very technologically savvy and have skyped with Grandma and Aunt Kelly in Orange County, Grandpa Stephen and Peonie in Hong Kong, and Christina in Peru.

You have already been wine tasting in Napa. You went to Alpha & Omega to pick up a bottle of wine that your Grandpa Stephen bought for mom and dad, then you had your bottle at Gott's Roadside Gourmet (formerly Taylor's), and then you made a stop at St Supery to taste and purchase some Dollarhide wines. Never to young to start wine tasting (ok, you didn't get to taste any wine, but you were sure a good little tasting companion).
